Celebrating Culture and Connections

March was all about good vibes, cultural celebrations, and making memories! 🎉

Our students, teachers, and staff came together to appreciate, share, and enjoy the beauty of different cultures 💃🏽🕌🍱—truly a month to remember ✨

As Ramadhan arrived, we embraced the spirit of togetherness and cultural appreciation. Our students had the chance to explore one of the month’s beloved traditions—the vibrant Ramadhan bazaar—sampling tasty local delicacies and soaking in the festive atmosphere.

Now, as we welcome the joyous celebration of Eid, we send our warmest wishes to everyone in our community: Selamat Hari Raya / Eid Mubarak!  🌙💛

✨Celebrating Eid (locally known as Hari Raya) at City Campus ✨

Our City Campus came alive with colour, culture, and community as students, teachers, and staff join in the Eid festivities. From lively local games to mouthwatering festive treats, the day was packed with joy.

Many came dressed to impress in stunning traditional attire-turning heads and spreading smiles all around. It was a moment to remember🌙🎉

Meet Our City Campus Students

One of the most rewarding aspects of our school is seeing our students grow in confidence as they improve their English skills. This month, we are excited to feature a video testimonial from some of our students, Natalee Chuasaman, Thanapon (Mind), and Pawarisa Boonjansri from Thailand. In their interview, they share their journey of learning English with ELC, the friendships they formed, and the experiences that have shaped their personal growth. Watch the video of their inspiring stories.

Meet Tamaki Kitano from Japan

What do you like the most about Malaysia and your stay here?

People are very kind and friendly. There are so many nice places to visit, and so many kinds of food to enjoy. I would like to stay much longer.

How did you find ELC?

I found ELC on a website which listed English schools in Malaysia.

What do you think about ELC school, ELC teachers and their teaching methods?

They are very kind, friendly and helpful. Teachers always try to explain and make difficult things easier so we can understand. We had a lot of games which every student got involved in and had a lot of fun.

What are your plans after studying at ELC?

I plan on taking a school interview test for enrollment at a pastry school in Paris.

Any special stories about your stay that you would like to share?

While studying, I enjoyed some events at school such as a Valentines’ Day party where we had cup cakes and a Lion dance performance during a Chinese New Year party. The school staff also took us to the play park as an optional school excursion. Not only did I enjoy them very much but also I learned about different cultures. I appreciate everything at the school.
