Honouring the heart of education - Happy Teachers’ Day!

This month we celebrate Teachers’ Day and pay special tribute to English language teachers—the communicators, connectors, and culture-bridgers who play a vital role in today’s global economy. Mastering English opens doors: to international collaboration, broader markets, and shared ideas.

Behind every professional who navigates these global conversations with confidence, there is often a dedicated language teacher who made it possible.

English language educators equip individuals with more than grammar and vocabulary—they empower global mobility, unlock opportunity, and foster mutual understanding across cultures.

To all the teachers shaping tomorrow’s workforce: thank you for helping the world speak with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Happy Teachers’ Day.

Celebration Highlights

We kept things simple for Teachers’ Day this year at ELC Malaysia, but it was still a really fun and meaningful celebration. Everyone got together for a nice lunch, which was a great chance to relax, chat, and enjoy each other’s company. The highlight was definitely the fun awards – students voted for their teachers in some lighthearted categories, which led to a lot of laughs and good vibes all around. It was a sweet way for students to show their appreciation, and it reminded us all how special the teacher-student connection is here at ELC.

Thank you, teachers, for shaping the future with every lesson you give.

Our Students’ Activities

Discovering Malacca Town

Our students recently spent an enjoyable weekend exploring the historic city of Malacca over the weekend. From strolling through the vibrant streets of Jonker Walk to visiting iconic landmarks like A Famosa and St. Paul’s Hill, it was a trip packed with culture, history, and plenty of photo opportunities. It was a great way for students to experience a different side of Malaysia while bonding with classmates and soaking up the local atmosphere.
